01 / Inspection plan

Hold points are agreed before production.

Project requirements are translated into an inspection and test plan so the purchaser, Wantuo and any third-party inspector work from the same sequence.

A

Incoming identity

Certificate review, heat number confirmation, grade and condition checks, plus PMI when specified.

Process controls

Prepared surfaces, bonding layout, recovery steps and heat-treatment records are tied to the job traveler.

C

Bond integrity

Ultrasonic examination is recorded against the agreed grid and acceptance criteria, with areas traceable on the plate map.

D

Mechanical performance

Shear, bend, tensile or additional coupons are taken and tested as required by the governing standard.

E

Dimensions and surface

Thickness, overall size, flatness, edge condition and visual finish are checked in the ordered supply state.

F

Final release

Records are reviewed, indexed and released with packing identification for the receiving fabricator.
